Complaints

How to complain about our coverage, and what happens next.

If you believe our coverage is inaccurate, unfair or in breach of our ethics policy, we want to hear from you. Every complaint is read, reviewed against our standards, and answered.

How to complain

Use the contact form and tell us which article you are complaining about, what you believe is wrong, and what you would like us to do. For a factual error, the Correction topic routes your message to the corrections process described in our corrections policy. Copyright complaints follow the DMCA policy instead.

What happens next

We review the article and the material it rests on. Where we got something wrong, we correct it promptly and visibly, with the correction labeled at the foot of the article. Where we stand by the coverage, we reply and explain why.

Complaints about advertising, privacy or accessibility can be sent the same way. Choose the topic that fits best and we will route the message to the right desk.
